Introduction
MemoSafe stores Pins, passwords and other text information on smart devices. It is using strong encryption to keep the information save – even if the device got stolen. Such a tool becomes very handy once you are on the road, need to make a transaction by your credit card and do not remember your pin anymore. Other situation: you want to check your e-mail using an Internet cafe and cannot remember your credentials anymore – MemoSafe will safe your day.
Security first
No-one wants to offer his/her personal information to 3rd party. Therefore, you need to secure your information – and MemoSafe helps you in order to do this. During setup MemoSafe asks you to provide a password. This password will encrypt all information stored in the internal database. To decrypt information you need to provide the password again. Such passwords are not stored on the device itself.
What happens if I lose my password?
There is no recovery of data possible once you lost your password. So, bad luck, my friend…
What devices MemoSafe will work on?
It will work both on Android driven Smart phones and Tablets. It will do its job on devices running Android 4.4 Kitkat or better.
How does MemoSafe look like?
Does it cost me anything?
You can use it completely for free. There are ads on the display.
Why do you add ads to the software?
This way you don’t have to pay anything for using the software, and we receive a little reward for developing the software.
Is there any way to switch the ads off?
Right now there is no such way to switch advertisements off. However, if the need is there, we will offer a Premium MemoSafe version soon. Just hit us in the comments…
Can I create backups from my data?
From version 1.3 (Mai 2018) on you can create backups. Just log into the application using your password, and go to Settings. There you will find a button to create backups. It will open a dialog so you can store the backup on Google Drive or Dropbox or any other destination you like. The data inside the backup are still enrypted. If you lose your password, the backups are useless as well.
There is no restore option yet, we are working on that.
